looking for odometer

I just bought a 83 Rabbit Convertible and need to replace the odometer in order for it to pass inspection. (The one hundred thousand number spins.) I'm having a hard time finding one to replace it. Any suggestions?

any speedometer from '81-ish to around '90 will fit in the insturment cluster but the speedometer cable has a different retainer in the newer vws. i'd reccomend that you find a more lienient shop to inspect your car, if a broken odometer is your only problem consider yourself luckey.
