4 WD stuck in Low range HELP!

Help! My 2000 Chevy blazer is stuck in 4 Low, that darn electronic button control seems to try to shift it out into 2H, but doesn't seem to go all the way. The light blinks for a few seconds, then it seems to give up. Anyone know anything about this? Itried putting it from nuetral into park, tried going into 4H, nothing. I'm open to trying almost anything.
Thanks,

The easy things to check are:
-is the 4x4 fuse burnt?
-is your transfer case too full?

To check if the Tcase is too full you can open the upper (fill/level check) plug. If transmission fluid comes pouring out you could have a faulty gasket.

If it isn't one of those two problems it can be the switch, vacuum line problem, or the actuator motor itself. If your switch is flashing I would venture to guess it's not your switch. If you're hearing a clicking I would venture to guess it's a too much fluid problem or a vacuum problem.

Thanks for your help! I hear a click/click. Where is the vacuum line? I have never added fluid, so doubt that it could be a high fluid problem.

I had never added fluid either, yet 2 quarts came pouring out of the level check plug. The Tcase is connected to your transmission, and if the gasket between the two is faulty you could have fluid leaking very slowly from the tranny to the Tcase.

It's easy to check, just need to pull the plug.
