Running a red light?

Yesturday night I was driving to work..
At the first intersection in a small town there is a traffic light. When I was driving past it the light turned yellow, but I though that I would make it, so I didn't slow down. The light turned Red right before I hit the intersection. I have seen the red light for about half a second, I was going around 37mph. I just kept on driving for about 20-30 seconds, then the car behind me was a Cop car and pulled me over. He said he was on the intersection.
This is my first traffic violation so he gave me a warning, what is going to happen?
Should I fight it?

lol, warnings are just that... warnings. You dont have to do anything about it, you dont have to pay a fine, you just throw it away and go on with your life as normal.

I got a written warning for no seat belt one time. It looked just like a ticket but it was a warning. I honestly dont think there was a difference between the warning and the ticket.

Well if it didn't have a fine on it...then you don't have to do a thing. If it did have a fine for the seatbelt thing...then it's a ticket, in which case, just pay it, because you got off easy.
