I need some advice please - just came into a 99 camaro z-28 - clear title, engine fine and low miles, wrecked front end and airbags deployed - how much is this worth?

well I'm not exactly sure, my 98 Z28 has 60,000 miles and is worth just over 10G, it has very minor defects, VERY minor! like a scratch in the paint. I rearended a volvo and it tore up the whole front end, had to replace everything from the radiator forward, the hood, the fenders, AC unit also, airbox assy, few other pieces EXCLUDING the Air Bags, and parts came out to 3,700, labor was 2,000 thank god it has full coverage. So the accident costing about 7 grand after it's all said and done, the car worth 10, that gives you about 3 left....but remember the airbags are deployed, I don't know how much them are, and I don't know what other kind of damage that car has. I'd give him an offer of 1500-2000 if you really want to put that much work or money into it...otherwise just look for a different car, you can get a good camaro for around 7 from personal party

Mileage??

If it is under 30,000, the motor alone complete is worth $2500+.

I wouldn't pay more than $4K for the car, because you have a lot of work ahead of you.
The airbags being deployed is the hardest part to work around. Costly stuff.
Depends on what is intact up front.

well the thing about the airbags is that they are dangerous when you are installing them. an accidental deployment durring install, or removal, can cause serious injuries. So i strongly advise that you have a dealership do that repair before selling the car, or if you sell it to someone as is, have them take it to a dealership for that repair work. The front end of the car should be rather simple to repair. ive had that assembly off and back on in a day. at least with everything forward of the fenders and hood. always remember the car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay. personally id say the car is worth about 5 or 6k to someone who has some wrench experience and can do the front end repairs.

If all the damage is fixed, and it is low miles....

It will sell for 9-11K.
