How to install tweeters?????????!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got done putting in my two twelve's, and now I need some adivice as to how to hook up my tweeters. How do I do this? I have a negative and positive outlet left (on my MTX THUNDER amp) after my subwoofers were hooked up to it. Can I hook the tweeters up to the amp just as the subwoofers did? Or is this the wrong way to do this. I guess I'll need some additional speaker wire cause the tweeter wires are really short (What kind?????????). It has one wire that is black with a white strip (Negative?????) and a single solid black cord (positive???????) The tweeters have a built in crossover if that makes any difference. dont hok em up to ur amp. hookem up to ur front door speekrz, u can either extend wire thru tha door panel and either drill a hole or use some dubble stikin tape or do it thru tha stereo and have them stik on the dash. u just need the wire that has 2 wires connected to it a.k.a. speaker wire. u can get em from auto zone or wutever. and hookin em up it doesnt matter weater its pos or neg it comes out tha same.

I hooked up the tweeters and the left hand side is working properly. But, I can't get any power to the left hand side. imounted them to the door speaker wire, and I checked the back of the CD player to make sure all the wires are hooked up corectly but when I hook up the wires I stll dont get any power. Is it the wires fault or is it something else. I need some info. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
