HMM HELP Ls tranny

im swapping a b18a1 and ls tranny into my si hatch and there were two hoses running off of the ls tranny for the power steering i think. should i just plug those or what?

dont think they are power steering hoses at all.....
Are they coming off the speedo gear? If so dont worry about them.

ya and they ran to the power steering on the teg i took it off of so i figured thats what they were

maybe they didnt go to the power steering, but should i just leave them open or put a plug in them i really have no clue what they were for and they arent on my a6 so i dont know

i would just cap them or run a little hose from on to the other thats what i did on mine

ya they are a part of the power steering. i believe it makes the power steering less responsive at higher speeds. but since you prob don't have ps just cap em off like everone else mentioned.

Always wondered what they were for! I thought it had something to do with cooling the speedo gear or something. Thanks for the info. :smooch:
