OK, had the HKS Type 1 timer installed for a little while now, but just got around to wireing it for all the goodies (speed, revs, etc.)
Problem is, it seems to be horribly innacurate. According to the car, im at 2000 revs, but the timer reads like 4000. Anyone have one of the Type 1's in their car here? All i can think of is that theres someway to change the engine setting (4 cyl, 6 cyl, 8 cyl, etc). i read the junky manual and looked online but couldnt find anything. Anyone have any ideas?

i have a HKS also, not sure if its the 1 or 2, but it's also off when it comes to revs. Usually its below what my tach says.

I have an HKS, and I'm not even sure it shows revs. All I get is the turbo timer features, and battery voltage.

YOU NEED TO SET THE SIGNAL PUT IT TO RPM MODE AND PRESS T2 IT WILL FLASH 2000. Then bring you tach to 2000 Rpms and press T2 again and it will change the signal and be correct.
