In Progress - Crazy RWD EJ civic???

This is a wild one.. I don't know if it's been done b4 (it prob has) but I'ma attempt it..
-The color is flat (satin) black
-The wheels are undecided, color will be either silver, gold, bronze, or -red
-Interior unsure as of now
-Engine.. see for you self :naughty:

Okay, these are just mock ups, a lot of things are still in the air right now.. so a lot of what I do next and the finished product will really depend on what kind of feed back I get. Your ideas will greatly influence this build and I have a feelin it'll be a while b4 I finish this one. As for the rear suspension and diff I have no idea yet, might have to make a tube chassis (which I have yet to figure out how to make). Also if I get my hands on that K20a motor I might drop that in as well...like I said errthang still in the air...

Looks cool, i'd say the first set of wheels;) These Revell kits don't provide you with much space to put any lips on wheels:( I like the whole idea of painting everythign black:) If it was me, i would just tint the sh*t out of the windows and leave it hoodless with that vertically mounted B16;)

The motor is actually from one of my trashed/spare parts ITR's and the tranny is from the AMT supra, if I can get my hands on either the F20c I think S2K motor or the K20a, I'd try putting one of those in

Yeah I saw the all CF Cwest S2k with headlight covers and I though cool.. I don't have a S2K so I'd go with a similar theme with my Coupe as for the headlight "covers" I thought those lines where on the inside but turns out they're not so I'ma have to sand them smooth and repaint

I'm orderin Advan RG's so I might put those on instead, these were just mock ups.. i think I will stick with the honda motor, the 2jz just gives me not enought room to work with and it was just for kicks.. anyways thanks for all the support.... I'll see what I can pull out of my a55 next haha oh and I wanted it to be like a track car so no roof rack

i like the idea but the 2jz pushes me a lil far im a same make person so thats prolly why i say a boosted fj22 will look good plus you wont get crap from ppl like me who are same make ppl :lol:

haha I haven't done much to it except some interior parts, I'm building or trying to build a roll cage, and I'm also waitin on buying that stupid RSX for the K20 and at the same time trying to figure out a rear suspension incase I never get that darn K20

ok so I took 97 sho's advice and went out and bought a datsun kit, I'll see how the rear suspension and driveshaft works out and I'll post som pics.. btw I'm stickin with vertically mounted B18, although it just came across my mind that I could also put in a 4G63 Motor also, cause it has been done in 1:1

4G63 is cool too, but seriously, keep a Honda in it.

I saw it in a magzine back when.. it was a turbo'd drag RSX, that's prob why they used a H series instead of the K, I still don't get it, I'll see if I can find it on the net

Because it's only plastic and the last time I checked, it was supposed to be a fun, relaxing hobby. :2cents:

Okay, I started workin on it again.. cut up the chassis just a bit, as well as some of the interior. The front suspension is in a raw form, needs a little tweaking to look at least a little acceptable. As for the rear, I have a datsun rear suspesion/differential and an Ecipse's. The eclipses' looks kinda boring and blah.. but it'll be the easiest to fab in. What you guys think?

I also found new wheels and they look pretty sweet. The bad part, they've got 6 lugs, WTF. I think I'ma drill down the center and fab a single lug style center.. I don't know yet...

I know a lot or all of this isn't practical or functional in 1:1 but eh give me a break... Think of this as Monster Garage

I want to engine to sit like this, I was thinkin of tilting it like the S2k. I also removed the battery to place in the rear somewhere, but mainly for clearance

Soon to come will be a top mounted turbo (on top of the exhaust manifold) a full roll cage, some more suspension work.
