Can anyone tell me where to start on removing the console trim on a '03 Denali? The paint of course is chipping off and I want to remove the pieces to paint them from gray to black and then cover with a matching wood kit. Thanks.

Never mind, I figured it out for myself.
I also figured out how to remove the peeling gray paint, so I could install the wood kit without worrying that it would pull the old paint off. Nice black hard plastic under the paint that will buff out to look very clean.

Great! Could you tell me how you removed the console trim?
Thanks. I need to remove mine cause the paint coming off of it and I need to repaint.

I used these people for the Denali factory match woodgrain kit. Just make sure it's a Sherwood kit. Denali or ( 'AS' ) color is a perfect match. They worked with me on getting just the pieces I needed instead of a complete kit. Dianne was very helpful.
