High School Cliques

so back in or if you still go to high school, what clique did u belong to or hang out with? for me it was like almost all........skaters, stoners (thats what i was considered), sometimes i would hang out with the jocks, and i would occasionly get down with the rap circle :lol2: they were saying damn white boy

Mostly metal guys and stoners. Some skaters here and there too.

Rednecks/Cowboys - I think they wanted to kill me

I guess I was your average high school student. I didn't belong to a crowd, didn't want to belong to a crowd. Most of my friends were in college and I was around them most of the time. Now I did have friends from every group but what I posted above was from the group as a whole.

I hung out with the stoners/slackers, jocks, and a few gothic people. I was the kid who was asleep in the back of the room and when school was out. I was at the parties till early the next morning.

I hang out with everybody, I dont really belong to one crowd. :lol: So I see all kinds of crap.

Band geeks - I had one friend who was in the band..
Gothics - My secondary Clique. I hate goths/emo, but thats what my friends were.. so.. what can ya do, ya know?
Nerds - Most of my friends were kinda nerdy
Stoners - Though I was funny cuz it looked like i was ALWAYS stoned..
Rednecks/Cowboys - My MAIN Clique. Still is. I like me some country and 4x4's..
Preps - Most of my female friends were preps.. but the guys were gay..

I hung out with pretty much all the jocks/cheerleaders/rich kids. It wasn't like I did just because they were cool, but most kids at my high school were just burnouts and had nothing going for them. But, all my friends were pretty much like the jocks in that movie "The Girl Next Door". We were always doing something stupid like them. High school was a blast, but I'm still hanging out with my original friends, and we still are just as stupid. Memories...:)

Pretty much the same here, outside of school I only hang out like 2-5 people from school regularly.

at one of my high schools I had a group pf about 10 good friends and we kicked it ALL the time during school and after school.

At another school I hung out with the basketball players at school, but nobody outside of school. I always just played basketball.

And my last high school I hung out with mostly band geeks. They were cool as shit. The "popular crew" was too uppity for me. BUt when I walked around the school I knew people from most groups.

I jus chilled with all the immigrants, mostly latinos and east-euros

we ran shit... I could get girls from any clique, even the preppy ones cause they usually like the whole bad boy thing. And i'm good looking to start with

I'm kind of a prep, but I'm also an outsider from the preps in the respect that I get along with everyone.

Jocks - They all like me because I'm the reason the star football player (Oz) passed pre calculus. If Oz thinks your cool, the rest of the jocks think your cool.
Band geeks - I had to go in the band room once. What a bunch of wierdos
Gothics - Avoid them at all costs, I'll be friendly, but i avoid them.
Nerds - I know alot like the nerds do, but i dont flaunt it, or dress like a nerd
Stoners - I think one of them is gay when hes stoned, he always asks how my mama is, when he never met her
Rednecks/Cowboys - I have a Silverado with a Dixie horn, the rednecks thnk I'm one of them
Preps - my definition of prer, is someone that isnt dirt poor, and does good in school, doesnt matter how they dress or what they drive. I'm a prep by that definition, as are most of my friends

Prep's. Knew a few. good friends with like 2 of them. Still firned to this day.
Jocks. Hated em. They didnt like me to much either.

Everyone else was a mixed bag between the rest. Know a few skaters metal heads stoners. Werent really any rednecks at my school. Never did like the whole goth thing.

A bunch of outcasts formed together for our group. It grew and shrunk as people gained and lost popularity. A few stoners now and then, some rednecks, couple nerds, and even some jocks.

God cliques in highschool were so funny at my school. I lived in upstate NY and the school I went to was ranked like 130 in the country but we also had one of the widest economic gaps in the entire state. We had kids whose parent's made 10g's a year all the way up to 10million a year(kid's who think they're cool because their parents have money should be shot). I was one of those kids who unless you were really on a hunt to find me you couldn't find me. Never really hung out with anyone at school except for a select few who were in my classes and didn't hang out with anyone who I knew at school outside of school(unless I was at a party where those people showed up.) Except the wannabe motor heads who I would work on their cars for them. Kid's hated me because I wouldn't do a damn thing in class(i.e homework projects) but when it came to test day I would fuck up the curve for them hardcore. I always had the best pot in town but no one could ever afford it so always had people constantly asking me to smoke them up. For me, highschool was a big joke/complete waste of time(well when is it not?) Shoulda dropped out and got my GED woulda saved me about 3 years of information and concepts that I had allready figured out. Peace-


P.S.-Anybody ever see "Donnie Darko" where a kid is doing bumps from behind his locker door? Well at my highschool that was what was actually going on! Kid's would be like "yo you wanna go do a couple lines?" while on lunch(we had off-campus lunch) then go back to class! I say fucking losers. But, when asked the administratioin denied that the student body had any kind of drug problem(regardless of the fact, when they brought dog's in the found 7 8-balls in a kid's locker). Anybody that says "rich" kids don't do drugs has never been to the suburbs.

That will all change, trust me. The asshole jock finds out there's a life after high school and becomes a fucking loser with a bad job. The hot ass girl gains about 40 pounds and will probably get knocked up. Mr. Bad Ass who thinks he's the toughest dude alive will get his ass kicked by the wrong person he decided to fuck with.

The unpopular nerd kid usually goes off to do something and has a happy life. The quiet, unpopular, and hardly dated girl will get drop dead gorgeous. I know what you're thinking, but I've seen it happen many, many, many times.

In the end, high school is a bit like the movies, things have a way of coming around and working out, even if you don't see it right away.

Damn straight! I'm my town previous graduated had done a study where something like 3 out 5 people ended up never leaving the area(and in that town there is nothing to offer unless you're a doctor/lawyer/something that can be done anywhere.) Highschool is like your indroduction to karma. If you're some stuck up asshole then you are screwed for life. But if you're chill and don't bother people you will go on to do great things. Peace-

its wierd i love cars and the whole racing scene well more of the drifting scene but in school i have never gotten along w/ any of the kids who are street racers or what have you. oh well im pretty much the only one of my friends who is big into cars

Not really. I have my friends that I've been friends with forever. They're preppy, I guess. I'm really quiet though, and I'm smart, so I guess I am a nerd. Everyone I know calls me a closet dork.

In school I am friends with most people, I hang out mostly with russian/ukrainian people, not the retarded kind though. I am not really close with anybody, there is something bad about all my close friends so I don't get too close. Back in ukraine I had 2 really good friends the ones I could trust, they changed though once I left. Now I am more of loner, just do what I want to do, not trying to fit in with others, and not trying to change myself.
Goth- never talk to me so I don't know any of them.
Nerds-dislike me too, as I am always talking and never do work, funny how I still get grades almost as good as theirs without studying.
Preps-I dislike them, rich kids who think everything is easy (sluts too).
Jocks-alright, more on the dislike side though.
Drama people-alright.
Weird people-weird.
Motorheads- think they are the shit and know everything, don't like the too much. And they always say american muscle is the shit and imports suck.
People into music-too much into music, no fun.

I was rather popular in retrospect. Friends with people of all races, friends with jocks, stoners, slackers, gangmembers, etc. There were an immediate crew of about 10-15 of us who have always hung out since 10th grade. The bizarre thing that most of our clique still all hang out and keep in touch on a regular basis. All of our parents and their significant others all find it strange but think its really cool that we are all still great friends.

I got along very well with all of the groups...granted that's probably because my school was soooooo small (under 400 in the whole school). I mostly hung out with the rednecks/cowboys. They were the only ones into cars/trucks and that was my main interest so naturally I just drifted over there. But I could always hang out in whatever group and no one would look at me funny or anything like that.

I hang out mostly with russian/ukrainian people, not the retarded kind though.

I was always the kid that wore in a genuine milspec field jacket, everyday, unless it was too hot. I guess i hung out with the metalheads, rockers. Hung out with the russians too. the peurto ricans didn't like the russians.. and i'm slavic... so i hung with the russians for protection. Plus they were always the ones making SERIOUS money driving around the mercedes and lexus's while the ricans thought they were hot shit with their winged civics, ha. Ah well. I saw the last of that shit 3 years ago now... real life has a tendancy to put people who wouldn't normally look at each other in highschool together.

All in all.... highschool was a fucking weird time.

A prep is not just some one who wears nice clothes and has a nice car. I had all that and i wasnt a prep. A prep yes does all that but its how they present themselves. They walk around and act better than everyone else. If you have less money or a crapier car or clothes they are the ones who wont give you the time of day. At least thats how it was in every school i was at.

Well things are much different (not really) when your from a smaller school. You know every one, but there were still the little groups. Our Group was the so called "popular" but it was so much different from my class's "popular" group. WE are the outgoing kids who do the wierdest things, but every one thinks is funny. My class's popular were the dicks who thought they were better then every one, but smoked weed and shit. (prep+stoner) (i'm a year young for my class, so I hung with the class below me) We are a very diverse group. We have the really smart kid, the kinda psyco guy but would have your back in any fight, the big hillarious kid, and the kid who every one picks on, then there is just the couple who aren't great or bad, just are there. We have been called any where between Punkers, Preps, jocks, whatever. Mostly becuase (small school) We ALL did a sport, I personally did soccer and track. But we all listened to Thrice, The Bled and what not. 2-4 of us wear Famous stars and straps & atticus ect, 2-3 wear ambercrombie and fitch ect, 2-4 wear fox. 90% of us drive Chevy trucks. And we all have above a 3.5. minus William. We are also the kids the "G-Unit" All starts shit with, then we kick there ass. It's like an every 2 week - month thing. HAHA. Wow sorry that got really long.

I was a skater. Then I started smoking and partying, and in senior year when we all went to parties, everybody from every group became a smoker. I'll never forget how the one preppy popular dork came up to me and asked me how to be cool with the cool dudes... so I guess I was cool. I was a nerd though and got mostly A's and tried not to get into trouble. Then I moved to the south and out of everybody I know, I'm the only person I know that actually graduated high school besides my one friend and his brother but they went to high school in Naples, Italy.

Band geeks- I was president. Most liked me.
Jocks-2 year starter in Football and 2 years in Wrestling w/18-6 record till I blew a knee. Most didn't like me.

I think it's an Illinois things tang... that's how the nerds were at my school to. But they were pretty cool and i usually stuck up for them when they needed.

my school wasnt to rowdy people didnt really pick on the "nerds" it was more like a group of the jock and the rednecks would be the people fucking w/ eeach other. people let the nerds do their own thing. i played sports but didnt consider myself a jock. and at my school even the jocks were divided among themselves. i was a stoner jock i guess. then there were redneck jocks. then the popular jocks and so on.

I went to two highschools, the first highschool I went to I transfered into with all my middle school friends. Who for the most part were big guys and became the jocks.

I'm a small guy, so I hung out with more or less the 'cool crowd'... which was fine and dandy. Nobody really messed with me reguardless.

I moved after two years, went there for 9th and 10th grade. And went to a neighboring highschool across town.

There I went through 11th and 12th grade, I was still the small guy but didn't know the jocks or the 'cool crowd'. So I just hung out with people I met in classes. One day or two with one guy, another day with other. I made friends of all types of 'social groups' at school.

Eventually I just ended up hanging out with one good friend I met. He had friends who hung out in the music/band room. So we had a place to go during lunch.


I only posted here cause Z28 Josh kept interupting my porn with IM's telling me to post here. Wanting to know how "young matty" was in school.

Bathrooms, vending machines and the lunch cart were all close by. A central point for your lunch time needs. Plus, when it was raining... I stayed dry. When it was hot, I didn't bake. And had a place to sit, rather than standing for half an hour like an idiot or on a concrete bench.

Yes, there is hope.....

I graduated this past year, 21 in my class. 110ish in the whole school. I never really went out on friday nights/weekends. I was always accepted ya know.....but thats about as far as it went. I was usually outa town/state shooting in pistol competitions, or home praticing, or fucking around with the ole truck. It is safe to say I never had a life in highschool. But I will honestly say, I never really gave a shit either (that included my grades too, I never had a 4.0, i always had only one "B"), didn't really drink much, never smoked.

Never got a girlfriend, had one almost, but that shit didn't work out, and Have 2 goood friends..............But I am ready as hell to go to Kansas State University in 3 WEEKS...woot.

I was usually by myself but I got along with most people I meet in class. Rednecks, nerds, some preps a cuople of stoners and motorheads. It was a big school back then...

Gotti, by retarded I mean the ones that don't hang out with others and have funny looking haircuts (I dont even have a haircut, so i dont fit in there) and green hair. I actually hang out with most baptists in school who think god is The shizle. I always tell them my point of view on that shit, then they start to dislike me a bit, then everything goes back to normal and then the happy cycle starts agian...
By the way most of them are rich as fuck, so I am a very special person in the group lol, I am a not-rich, atheist. The females do like me though, I just don't like the fact that I won't get any ass with them until I am merried :(, I 'll see how things go though cause I like some of them.
