Is it possible to powdercoat at home? Like with little money and all? I don't know exactly what it is, except for the fact that it like painting, just done to take heat. I want to do my head and some piping. What would I need?

I don't know the specifics, but I think powder coating involves magnetising(sp?) the powder to like a negative charge so it is magnetically bound together with the other object. Then you bake it in an oven. Don't know if that's exactly how it's done, but I've seen a few of the American Chopper episodes where they do powder coating on their bikes lol.

my dad has one lying around, Ive only seen it used once, its pretty cool stuff. You just charge it whatever you want to coat and buy a big thing of the powder and it will just stick on to it and then bake it in a little special oven. Its not the same as chrome but it adds a nice touch.
