Tire Sizes

I was wondering what tire sizes will fit the 3rd gen 16x8 IROC/GTA rims? I was thinking 275 out back with 235/245 up front. Is it possible? Anybody wanna share this gonja with me :silly: :smokin: .

I think you need a bigger rim for 275's. Maybe... Pretty sure about that one...245's came on the car so they are fine. Keep in mind that doing two different sizes makes everything more expensive because you cant rotate the tires....Which brings up another question....arent there different offsets between the front and back wheels? How would you rotate them? I dont mean to steal your thread link but at least this kinda goes with the topic....

rotating, take the ones off the back and put them on the front this way they will wear more evenly.

Your supposed to cross them though....left rear goes to right front and right rear to left front. and 275's on the front deffinetly will not work. But im still not sure if you can rotate on these cars anyways. My wheels have front and rear marked on them. And from what I understand the offsets are different front and rear....

You could always roll the fenders out and put 335's or larger on. Thats a good size tire right there.

Viper, thats one too many puffs, the tread looks better in the back than up front.

Ill hit up a couple extra hits too on this one, but, you know I only use it for medicinal purposes.
