Replacing taillight

Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to replace the driver's side taillight assembly or if I should even attempt it and let some one else tackle it?

What year? I removed the lens to replace the turn signal bulb on our 92 caravan and it was a piece of cake.

It is a 96 Caravan.

It's a breeze on this , just open the rear hatch and look at the inside of the lens , you will see 2 screws , just take them out and the lens will just pop out after that . There is a lip you have to get in place when reinstalling . Also do not get the bulb holders mixed , though they look the same they must go back into the same location they came from , learned the hard way .
