maint required

I was wondering what can make your maintance required light come on and where you can get it tested at. Mine came on like 2 weeks ago but my car runs fine isnt buring oil or overheating or anything like that so i dont know why it is on?

how many miles are you at did you just turn something like 30K 120K ?

its a 95 ls with 99000 miles on it

probbly on for 100K miles check up

Does that have to be checked at an acura dealership or is that something like advanced auto can check?

You can make the light stop flashing, but it's basically a reminder to tell you that you are needing to do something in the scheduled maintenance. There is a small button under the steering wheel, above the pedals that you reset the light with if I remember correctly. Make sure you check a hayne manual to see what type of maintenance you need to do for your mileage so you don't forget something.
