Rough Take off

I have a 1997 Chrysler LHS (great car), the problem I have is that when I take off normal (for most people) it seems to cut out like it is missing. When it is idling it runs fine and when I floor it on take off it takes off fine, also when I get up to speed it runs fine.

Also I had to replace the MAP Sensor plug, is that normal for the plug to go bad.
