Simple Question....The four lug nuts on My 98 Jetta GLS hold the rotor in place...correct? Well They grind really bad and i was thinking the set screw on the rotor would have something to do with it grinding..they are both broke off....Hmmm

THe bolt usually breaks off when you remove the old one... big deal, sand down the stub if there is any sticking out and put the new rotor on over it. As long as your wheels are torqued on all the way they shouldnt grind. If they do, then theres something alse wrong.
