A/C and speedometer quit at same time?

I have a 1989 park avenue....3800 engine....i will be driving down the road and my speedometer just quits working and the A/C stops blowing cold air?Electrical Problem maybe?Any input would be appreciated!

I don't see how the speedometer and air could be related. Speed is controled by input from the VSS and has nothing to do with AC compressor. Yes, you do have a electrical problem! :crying:
