Hey everyone, can anyone confirm that a plastic model of the 2005 300C has been released? I saw some people on here were saying it was supposed to be released in Jan. but all my google searches turn up the 57 300C. My dad just bought the 300C AWD a few months ago, and I want to build him a model of his 1:1 (as close as I can anyways) for his birthday. Thanks!

No models made yet. There's rumors of AMT making one, but who knows. Maybe you cna make it for your dad 5 years from now. There are a few diecasts however. Check out the diecast forum. Good luck.

AMT usually cancels models that won't make it a lot sooner than now if it indeed would be cancelled. The kit should be out by the end of the year.
Testors says that three variations of the '06 Charger will be out by the end of the year: Standard R/T, Police Cruiser, and Charger Daytona.
I'll believe 'em all when I see 'em, but things are looking good.
In the meantime, I had a bit of fun taking a 1/24 (more like 1/22) DUB City 300C diecast and combined it w/a set of 1/18 scale Jaguar S Type rims. It sort of looks like a 3D version of a designer's concept sketch of a 300.

Thanks. Testors is doing this one for themselves. They do that occasionally. They already do the big 1/4 scale Hemi engine and have the license for the Hemi name, and Dodge wanted the Charger made into a plastic kit (it's sort of a tie-in w/a 1:1 scale auto show display that has the Charger come together from a bunch of pieces from a sprue like a model car. They even include a giant box, giant glue, and giant paint and brush). Cool, huh?

Yeah, we already got him the 1:18 diecast... He mentioned something about wanting a model of the classic 300C so I wanted to build the two side by side. Looks like I'll have to wait a few months.
Thanks

With Testors making it, it will be a fairly good model. Thier 1/4th Hemi is really nice and awesome looking when it runs. The 300c was one of my dads options when he was looking for a new car.
