Possible Clutch Problem???

I drive a 92 CX hatchback and I just recently started to notice that I have to step on the gas a lot more for the clutch to engage. It feels like I'm revving higher just for the car to start moving in 1st gear. Is it about that time for me to have the clutch replaced? I got bought the car about a month a ago and it had 154,544 miles on it. It's currently at 155,000 miles. If I have to replace the clutch, should I go with an aftermarket one? What do you guys think I should do?

To me it sounds like the clutch. I have the same thing going on with my CX right now (except mine was caused by my own stupidity).
I'm not sure what you mean by aftermarket; just non-oem or upgraded? Don't even think about an upgraded clutch, it's pointless since you don't have nearly enough power to need one. I bought a clutch from Pep Boys, they go for around $200 (unless you know a manager and can get it for $100, like I did).

Yeah, I figured that an upgraded clutch would be pretty useless with my stock motor. Thanks for the reply.

I bought my Exedy clutch from Grip-Force for $86.00... It's working out SOOOOOOOOOO much better than a stock clutch.
It's the stock replacement kit, it's cheaper than an O.E.M clutch, grips better, and lasts longer. Give Grip-Force an E-Mail, and they'll have what you're looking for.
