Desperate for help.
I have a "W"(2000)reg Golf s/se with an intermittant fault that the garage technicians have been unable to diagnose. Starts well but, at times, once warm revs climb very high, in gear or neutral, if at junction etc. once gears reengaged engine stalls and unable to start for up to 30 minutes then car starts and all well, until it happens again.
VW technicians have indicated that it may be a transmission fault but after reading some of your previous messages I,m not so sure.
Please help, any suggestions will be useful.
