Hi, I am a student and will be buying a car soon. I am thinking about the Accent, Honda Civic or PT Cruiser. What I really need is a car that is reliable, has good mileage, is safe and not expensive. I would also need space since i will be moving alot in the next few years. Could you please recommend me a car if not from that list and tell me why you like it or dislike the cars I am thinking about, it would be a great help, thanks.

out of the 3. Chrysler has the same price as employee deal going on till probably the 30th. Heard an analyst today say that the 2006 lineup for the big 3 will be priced up to $6000 less than the comparable 2005 lineup so no need to jump on the bandwagon. The Accent hatchback has a lot of room for hauling stuff with back seat done. Cruiser has more but costs considerably more. Honda is nice but no room for stuff. Also a lot more expensive. Good luck! :smokin:

If you can get a newer Accent, go with it. Otherwise, flip a coin for the Chrysler/Honda.

I've seen the 2006 accent an its bad ass. oh if you still dont have a car. you might want to consider 05 accenti have a 4 door sedan and its roomy to put lots of stuff in it. and i got it for a steal price to with power package and cd player.

With the needs you described and the choices I would have to pick either the Civic or the Accent.
The Honda has the best mileage, the Accent is the most not expensive and both the Accent and the Honda are safe and reliable. Considering all things equal I would still say the Accent just for the warranty alone.

If you're looking as big as a PT Cruiser, why not look at a Hyundai Elantra? Much larger, nicer than an Accent, and about the same cost as a Civic.

True, especially the GT.
