2.2L Camshaft Sensor

Does anyone know of a simulator that can be used to substitute a signal for a camshaft sensor. This is a situation where a 96 vehicle has had a 95 engine installed that has no provisions for a camshaft sensor. The truck runs fine, it just has a service engine soon lite on.
