Best deal ever

i just bought an engine off dsmtrader, it's a jdm engine that had 40k-50k on it, it was rebuilt with JE pistons, crower rods, hks cams, and fidenza came gears, it has about 2k since the build and it was biult at a shop. Had 395 at crank with 15psi. I got it for 1400 shipped. i geuss i'm not stroking my engine.

I don't know what turbo makes 395hp at 15 psi, but if there is one, it sure as hell isn't included with a $1400 engine.

he said it was with a 20g, but the engine comes with the stock turbo, not sure what the jdm stock turbo was, but i don't really care cause my t3 turbo is going on it. Here's a pic of it. Strange ic piping...

That is a great price if it is indeed a built motor with cams. 20gs flow just a few more lb./min. than the Evo16g has been logged at, and that is at 20+ psi. The nice thing about that motor is that you won't have to worry about crankwalk or breaking internals if you crank up the boost.

It looks like a 14b or possibly a 16g on the engine now. Probably the former, though.

mmmmm....I dunno my full turbo back 3" exhaust for $40 was a pretty good deal.....don't think 20g makes that much at only 15psi. Any way to verify he is a real seller and not a scammer?

He seemed reputable i wouldn't have done had it not been such a good deal, i sent half now and i'll send half when i get it. Worst case senario he doesn't send it and i have to go to his house and murder him jk, but i have his name number and address so if he tries to screw me he'll pay.

It stands for "Japanese Domestic Market". Basically it's anything sold on a stock car in Japan. It's also the most overused word ever and makes gullible fools buy anything anyone says is JDM. Holy crap I rule.
