I was told by a couple of friends of mine that ford products don't respond well to other brands of products than motorcraft. I was thinking of replacing my spark plugs with either Ngk Iridiums or bosch platinum+4
and wanted to check everyone thoughts on not only the ford's compatibility with aftermarket parts but also which plugs do you feel are better? If it matters it is an 01 5.0 AWD with 70,000 miles on it. Any way thanks for any input!

From my experiences from being a ASE cert. tech. I find unless its a high perfromance car its best to go with plain old factory plugs, in your case motorcraft

In total agreement about the plugs. How about the people who buy the 50,000 mile plugs and then install those expensive plugs into an oil burner? Have to laugh about that situation.
