Power Locks

How's it going guys and gals? I have a 94 g20, and the driver side solenoid for the power locks doesn't work. I've tried to remove the door panel, but I don't want to damage the power window switch... If someone could give me step by step instructions, that'd be great. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
