i've got a CRX and was thinking of putting a roll cage in it but was wondering if it was legal for street use in alberta? are they show/track use only and who could i locally contact about this (bodyshop, dealership, the 5-0)? any help would be great.

Well I Know Here In Ca (california) There's Nothing In The Vehicle Code Book But The Cops Hassle Anybody With Any Visible Bars In The Window Area. I'd Check With The Dmv (or Whatever's Like In In Alberta) And The Local Cops.

thanks, i'll check tomorrow.

added: ok, so i checked a while back but never reposted. i talked with some guy who knows about the laws and i checked through the vehicle equipment regualtions to see and YES they are legal in alberta. just as long as they don't block any windows.
