2.8 owners HELP

i almost got everything swapped over ( i got a fuel injected 2.8 and i'm putting my carberated stuff on) on the right side valve cover ( passenger side) what comes out of the hole on the valve cover?? and where does it go? the other side is the pcv valve and oil fill.......

If you go to a parts store they should sell breathers there. They look like small air filters. Originally a hose would run from the valve cover to the air intake housing some where. You can just put one of the little breather filters on it and you should be fine. They are like ten dollars or something.

i oughta go get a diagram for all the hoses running everywhere.....i took a video with my digi camera before i tore my engine apart but in the video it was already off

It's an intake hose/tube that goes there that should connect to the back of your intake. It's a weird setup that GM made, but's it's basically a breather. Kind of like the tube that runs from your intake elbow to your left valve cover.

Yours should have been set up the same way as mine, with an intake tube running from the intake elbow to the passenger side valve cover. You could do something like this. It's what I did to my valve cover. I just got my intake tube an used my grinder to shorten it. Then popped one of those APC valve cover breathers on it ($10). I had to use the tube as an extension because there was no room for it to sit on top of the valve cover. There may be room for you though, but my egr (not pictured) sits right in the way.
