Cross Reference for AEM CAI filter

What's up guys...
Was wondering if anyone had a cross-reference sheet on after-market replacement air filters....
E.g: Aem -> K&N -> APC
Really I'm just looking for the K&N replacement for an AEM filter because my shop can't get the AEM filter for two weeks...
Thanks,
CL

not to sound like a smartass, but, one that fits and filters air should do it. How anal you are about high volume of flow or how small a micron it will filter is up to you. I have a cheap ass APC filter on mine because it matches the blue accents in the bay and it was cheap. filters air, and I haven't noticed any real difference between it and the original. I drive a BUTTLOAD and don't notice a change in gas mileage.

APC - cheap, does the job, will need replaced when the metal fencing around the filter rusts.

K&N - pricey, lasts a very long time, good rep, and is washable (quite the bonus) but what do you do while you wait for the filter to dry? (About 2 hours with the right conditions - don't use a hair dryer because shrinking is bad)

Fram - not so much. not designed to fit on a CAI

Bubba brand (generic) - about the same as the APC, but cheaper.

That's why I was asking for a cross reference wheel1856... So I didn't have to wait for filters to be ordered and to pay that high price... I was about to buy an APC filter last night but they didn't have any instock that would fit...
When I was with the guy @ advanced auto parts, we were going through like three to four different catalogs trying to match spec's and it just wasn't working... I also didn't have the AEM product sku to try and match so that's why I was asking ya'll for help...
I finally had them order me in a K&N filter for $43 bucks that fit... still less than the AEM filter but not as cheap as APC... I like the longevity and I'll clean it when I have the time to dedicate an afternoon... That's how I did it with my old AEM filter...
Thanks for your opinion though...

oooooohhhhhhh....sorry...I didn't realize that you were trying to find the O.D./I.D size for the filter...I thought you were just looking for a comparable performance filter...oops. Sorry to waste your time, glad you got it settled though. The K&N is a good call. A bit pricey, but worth it. I suspect the AEM filter cost is more product name than usefulness.

No worries... Yeah, the AEM air filter was over $50 and I got the K&N for $43 + tx...
All name in that price...
