1996 Transmission

I have a 96 jimmy and the tranny is acting funny, seems its slipping in OD and Drive.... if i shit manually 1-2-drive it works ok..... I was told that i should get the transmission codes ran but i have no idea what to do after they are ran....all the tips and help is great

I suggest your go to Autozone and have them scan for the codes and come back here with them.

We need the actual codes to help you, don't just take the autozone monkey's explanation on it.
