95 eclipse fuel and fire but no start

i have a 95 eclipse rs. i bought it and had to exchange the whole wire harness, i have all the wires right. the problem is it will not start but, it will fire of starting fluid but just untill it sucks it through. i rigged the fuel pump to the battery so i know it is working. Also I took of the fuel line to the motor and it deffently spits gas. i am stumped. Oh the motor was running perfect in another car then the shop put it in mine and now it is not starting. please help ...thank you

Hmmm...motor runs fine...shop takes it out of car and puts it in yours...motor does not run fine in yours...

Take car back to shop and make them fix it!

I don't know what harness you're referring to--the ecu? I also don't know what starting fluid is, and why it would be around cars. Do these simple steps:

1) Make sure you have spark. Ground a spark plug and you should see a visible spark.

2) Make sure you have fuel. "Rig" the fuel pump up like it is supposed to be hooked up, and make sure you can smell fuel in the cylinders.

If you have both and the car is still not running, report back.

i was talking about the pcm harness ...but anyways i am getting both fuel and fire to the plugs. it acts like the injectors are not working but like i said it worked in the other eclipse...bout ready to sell it or trade it..lol
