If it really spun a bearing, don't waste a lot of time and energy looking at it. Just pull the engine out and have it rebuilt. You'll find the thing LOADED with metal. The only siure way to get it out of there is to tear the thing all the way down and clean it.
Pulling the engine in Fiero is not trivial. It requires a lift and a few other "special" tools, usually reserved for professional technicians.
If you have an automatic transmission, have it rebuilt while the engine is out of the car. If a manual, and it was shifting okay (no clashing), just replace the clutch assembly, T/O bearing and have the flywheel resurfaced. If you DID have clashing (grinding when you shift), have new synchro assemblies installed, too.
These are just suggestions to help you avoid pulling it all apart again in the near future. Once you find how much work it is, you'll be happy to have these tips.
