The other thing I am working on is the A/C for this car. It stopped working at the end of the summer last year, but I didn't do anything as it was getting cooler. I recharged it recently, and it reads a good pressure, but the thing jsut don't kick out good cold air.
Any tips?
I see no leaks, is there some way to check for the other possible problems?
Thanks!

Turn the AC switch to Max and the Fan on High with the engine running.
Look to see if the compressor clutch is turning. If not, you may have an electrical problem, the compressor might not be getting power (you can test the compressor by attaching a 12v wire to the green wire on the compressor harness) or your pressure switch could be faulty (The switch is in the line going to the condensor along the top of the radiator. If the fan on the radiator isn't turning with the AC in max, it's the pressure switch)
You may also want to swap the relay for the AC with the fuel pump relay to rule out a relay problem (In the fuse block on the driver side fender under the hood)
Lastly, check the AC 10amp fuse in fuse box inside of the car on the drive side of the dash.
Good Luck

Thanks for the info Mike. I am going to try that, of course now the thing won't even start. I get it jumped like 6 times a week, and I only work 3 days a week in the summer. I think I need a new altenator, so I will wait on the A/C until that is done. Thanks again. Extremely helpful.
BTW I did check the fuses, and they seemed alright, i changed out with one i know was working. Did not try the relays or any under the hood though, so I will try that too. Also I should note, that when it is on max and I turn it off and back on again, I hear a sort of faint clunk sound near the floor on the passenger side, which is where the a/c condensor or compressor, or something is. Don't know if that is important.
(it is right near where my horn relay or celenoid clicks instead of honking the horn ; )

The accumulator is next to the firewall in the area you describe, and by what you say above, you may have an "air-in-the-system" problem, or the orifice tube is plugged. When you recharged the system, did you allow any air into the lines beore attaching the recharge hose?. If so, you'll need to purge the system (vacuum is the preferred way) and recharge again.
But before doing that, check all the items in the top post to rule out an electrical problem.
