new motor + turbo ???

hey guys am getting a new motor for my clipse and was wondering do i have to build it (i.e eagle rods, titanium springs pistons etc...)

or can i jus slap on da turbo and wont have to worry about my internals

With the 420a motor you have to build it up or you cant run much boost

Yeah like he said. If can handle a turbo on the stock internals but you really don't want to put anything to big on it or you'll be replacing it for the 2nd time

If it's a daily driver, I wouldn't go higher than 7psi... I have a turboed 420A on stock internals, and it's maybe just over 7psi at high boost. I would recommend getting a Turbo XS Dual Stage Boost Controller (DSBC) so that you can turn it way down for regular driving... and good gas mileage!! Also, the DSBC will allow for better traction during a launch if you do get forged internals.
