JIC or CUSCO? and Where can I find model number of a JIC?

Hi, someone is selling me a second hand set of JIC coilover. However with my little knowledge on suspension, could someone tell me:

(1) Overall performance of JIC and CUSCO coilover?
(2) Since JIC has quite a few models: SF-1, SA-1, FLT-2 and FLT-A2, given the fact that I have never seen anyone of them, if someone show me a Jic Coilover, where can I look for the model number? I have tried to find it from the web, but their pictures are look very similar.
