I used Dupli-Color Sandable primer. It worked pretty good.. drove around about a month with it on my doors. it doesnt really make dust when u sand it tho.. just levels it out an makes it shiny an real smooth.

yea, it takes a lot. i think most of it goes off into the air while less than half actually goes onto the car. i think i used 10 cans just to do part of my doors, and door jambs, an engine bay.

yeah, i kinda figured it was gonna be a lot. Ive used two cans just the door, fender, and half the trunk. Im using the black primer though because im planning on painting the car black. I just checked out your car at cardomain and i have to say, your car kicks ass! Is that the Bomex kit or something like it from someplace else ?

what kind of modifications did you have to do to get the kit to fit right ?

It's Bomex. They are garunteed fit bodykits, given you put it on the right car. That kit will not just bolt onto an R/T due to the headlights and tailights. But an ES Stealth or 3000GT it will work just fine. A few tweaks here and there.

mine being the cheaper one, didnt fit. i know we had to cut on the front bumper so it would clear the crash bar. but on each side of the front bumper it was an inch out. but i had taken it to a body shop so some1 with experience could do it right. i think sideskirts ended up fitting nice. the rear bumper was like half an inch in on one side an they had to use body filler to make up for it. but mine being an ES the frame where the turn signals off the 3000gt go, had to be cut in about an inch so it wouldnt hit. plus the taillights had to be rounded on the corners. not a big deal tho.

Depending on what method you will be using to paint it might not be a good idea to do the whole car in spray primer.. Primer in a spray can is lacquer based. Unless you are using a lacquer style paint then it might react with the primer. Honestly for as many cans it owuld take to cover the car you are better off picking up a 1/2 gallon of primer and getting it on there evenly.
