No blower and no radio?

I've went from one end to the other in this stupid car (96). I "thought" I had it down to the control module (ha, that was too easy).

The only item I can find common to the radio and blower is the ECM. The blower works just fine withe 12vdc, all the fuses in both blocks are good, all the guages work, the STAC works (except for the stupid blower). The only two things not working are the radio and blower.

This all started when the car freaked out. The alt, battery, and fusable link all died at the same instant. It runs great (about 23mpg), but, the wife (it's hers I sold my 92 T-bird for a work truck :( ) isn't very happy about not having AC with the temps over 90 and humidity over 60%. Oh, and it has 147,000+ and the body is SWEET (interior has semi-survived 3 grandkids).

Can anyone bail me out?

Do you mean you applied 12V directly to the blower and it worked? See my response to the post that starts "This is a good one!!!" to see how to check the Blower Moter Speed Controller. If you know for certain that all the fuses are good and the radio doesn't work then remove the radio from the dash and check to be sure you have 12V to the two feeds at the radio connector. One should have power at all times and the other has power only in the ACC or RUN key position. On a '97 the BK/O going to pin 8 of the connector will have power at all times. The Y/BK wire going to pin 6 of the connector will have power in ACC or RUN.
