starting problems for older accord - help!

I have a '85 accord and it's having problems starting. Sometimes it can take up to 2 hours to start! It seems to do this more often in the heat. I've taken it to a few mechanics, and they all have said different things. I don't know what to believe. Have any of you had this problem with your accord? I'd appreciate your help!
