Egr Valve

I have located this valve and the 2 bolts holding it down. There are also some tubes coming out of the bottom of this part one to the right and one on the left if I remember correctly. My questions are 1. do I have to disconnect the negative battery cable and 2. which of those lines/tubes do I have to remove???? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Remove the 2 10mm nuts and the electical connector on the top and lift up! thats it.
