How Do I remove the vent that is under the hood and right against the windshield. If I had a pic i would show you what i mean. I tried pulling a little bit but it didn't see to pop the plastic clips out

Did you pull the clips out, or are those what you are trying to remove? If it is the clips I think if you get a flathead screwdriver under there they should pop out but im really not sure. What year is the car? if it is an 03 or a 2000 I can find out for you.

OK I think where the wiper blades are screwed down at there is a retainer in there that Im not sure how to get out. I have never taken the wiper assembly off. I'll check mine out in the morning and then I'll let u know. But is there enough slack to lift the vent assembly up? If so see if there is something under there holding the wipers on.

there is enough slack and you can see were the arms are bolted to i thing the motor but i am not sure. but i would think there is an easier way than that

On my 92 I just lift the wipers away from the windsheild as far as they go and there's a little tiny tab on each wiper arm that slides out and locks the arm up, and allows you to pull it straight off the post.
