Ehh i dont see much rice. Just a ridicously fast car on a nearly stock motor. The color isnt all that great though. Gt-r sticker is rice. Id take one.

its not terrible, i'd give it two thumbs up for not being a bullshitting car. its got balls. and the interior looks good. other than that, the paint is imo a bad choice, could have gone with something not as diarrhea-coloured

its not a lot of rice but the GT-R is enough, about every other civic and eclipse in my town has one... and the color isnt so nice, i would take one but it would get some work as soon as i got it

why would someone put that much effort into a car and sell it. there is no way he could get what hes put into it back. paint is a horrible choice.

i posted that up on a local forum. The guys called bs on the hp. They said it was crank hp. Not wheels. They said theres no way that only those mods would give it that much more hp. I dunno about ls1's, they do....good ol midwest.

Also a ls-1 owns a vk45 so horribly much its not funny. If you wanted a stock engine maybe it would be cool, but in the end a LS-1 is going to make more power, has way more upgrades availble, probably weighs less, takes up less space, and takes less maintenance.

Alot of people don't know how much room is available in the 240 engine bay for such a swap...

I changed the plugs in my 240/350 in about 15 mins...
Alot more room then in T/A's & Camaro's...

and the vk is made for the nissan suv's and luxury sedans, not a legendary sports car. you'd have much more satisfaction putting even $5G's into an ls1 than vk45. and with the 1.1L difference in displacement with the same amount of cylinders, i/h/e will definitely show more significant results on the ls1. i know you're defending the vk out of spite cause sr20detpower can be a stubborn sob but in the end he really thinks things out and they make sense. i'd rather see a vk-powered 240 than an ls1-powered 240 too but what are you gonna do? that guy already has the ls1 in.

Ok, how much will a LS-7 cost to have shipped to your door with everything you need? Yeah, yeah, its great and all but why spend that much money on an engine and put it into a car that absolutely would not be able to put down the power? Without fat ass axles for starters, and ridiculous strengthening in the rear, etc, etc. there is no way you are fully utilizing that engine. Total waste of a $10k engine into a mediocre car (a 240 is a great car, but 500 HP and 500 Torque in a flat line at any rpm in any gear was truly not meant for a 240SX.) So yeah overall very cool but totally wasteful swap into a Nissan. Who really wants to do a wasteful swap? Unless you could get a free LS-7, which then, I would probably try to put it in something just as ridiculous, but otherwise, whats the point? Seriously, whats the point? So if you would stop with your preachy sermon to us n00bs about how great small block Chevy's are, then you will notice that you still have some slobber left around your lips and lower chin area. But thats probably the way General Motors likes their blowjobs, just slightly on the slobbery side in front of a crowd of people.

Of course, it is impossible to not agree with the great "bang-for-the-buck performance" factor in the new Z06, and through all the years of Corvette's if you look at it performance-wise, But either you are a Corvette person or a Chevy person or whatever, or you aren't. Why are you trying to win so many people over? What are you trying to sell it to a forum of Nissan people for? I appreciate the work he put into it. Aside from the paint choice and GT-R badge, that's a bad ass machine. Although putting a vette engine into a 240 kind've defeats the purpose of having a 240 if you ask me.

Yea A 5.7L V8 compared to a 2.4L I4 lets see 2.3 Times the displacement... 155HP times 2.3 = 357 BHP....relatively. Generally an engine with higher displacement will get more power out of a single bolt on seeing that bolt on is benefitting 5.7L of power to our 2.4Ls. Maybe if you made a header for the LS1 that only provide a power gain for 2.4L of that engine maybe you would see the same up in whp as you would in our KA.

well part of the fun of turbos is TUNING .if you do it right, that amount of power seems like it might make the engine get strung out, but thats where TUNING comes in, and thats what saves your engine. thats why people go for turbos is because the TUNING aspect, anyone can make 350hp with 6 Liters, the thing with a 4 cylinder is utilizing it to its maximum potential, and making the most of what you have in a small engine. once again i turn to the HP/Liter statistics. wow 5.7 L, 350hp. NOT THAT IMPRESSIVE. not even that god damn reliable some how its going to magically never require a rebuild? THEY DONT RUN FOREVER.

dont you see how its attractive to people to try to make more with less? not everyone wants a huge ass engine. it is not always the answer.

I'd take my peaky, poorly designed, halfassed, POS, non V8, inferior, old ass, weak ring lands, high strung, dumb import, ricer, car anyday over a V8.

although its true the v8 will make more power easily. But thats obvious. I just like the hp/liter ratio....the turbo 4 is way more efficient and still saves on gas. I think there are a lot of 300-400 hp 240's daily driven.
