'86 subaru gl rack & pinion

Help...I'm leaking atf from my rack & pinion, it's coming out off left & right dust boots. I'm using more atf than gas. I've found seal kits, but no info on how to rebuild them. I have a hayes and chilton manual and neither tell me anything about replacing seals. Anyone ever done that? Or know what kind of kit I need? Thanks
