I just finished painting 3 of the interior door panels of my car. The first one I did, I didn't use a gloss coat.. I decided to do the back doors but instead I added a few gloss coats to make it shiny and resistant to dirt and whatever. So anyways... I did it...turned out really nice, I put them in my car...but after the sun got to it, the doors were actually sticky to the touch. I used 2 different glosses on each door, and the same thing happened on both of them. Questions is, should I just forget the gloss coat and just stick with the paint??

Here are my pics...

Krylon

I used a Krylon Blue, then a Krylon White, then a Krylon Satin Finish gloss.

are you sure it was the gloss that made it sticky.

Yes,

Because I did my front door, without gloss and it turned out fine.. cept for the texture...its kinda rough...thats why I put the gloss coat on the back doors...

oh well...
