Today I decided to put in an aftermarket stereo in my 99 Prelude. So I take the stock one out and get the wiring kit all connectd to the aftermarket. I double checked and made sure I had all the right wires connected and reread the instructions to make sure I was doing everything right. So i put the aftermarket in and I get nothing, no power. I took it out, checked everything again. Everything was right so I put it back in and still got nothin. Well i figured the wiring kit was messed up and I still wanted to listen to CDs so I put the stock one back in exactly how it was, and now it doesnt work. I also noticed that the clock doesnt work anymore either. I checked the plug for clock and stereo and they are fine. I have no idea what the problem is. Can any of you help?

some wires must have touched without you knowing. so check your radio/clock fuse. it happened to me too.

Hopefully you disconnected the battery before you did this? That's rule #1.

I had just the same problem this last week installing a cd deck as well. It was my clock/radio fuse under my hood. Does your cigarette lighter work now?? My dont since the fuse blew....
