Ok i toook it to the tranny shop cause i thougght the tranny was bad. One place told me that they wanted to do a complete overhaul for 1050. I told them im taking ot another place. They said there are no transmission issuess and they pulled a P0300. Got love how broad that is... So i am going to do spark plugs and wires (AC Delco- Platnium). But i have heard everyone talkin about the Ignition Switch.? some info on that would be helpful.

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem to me. Fuel filter may be clogged and it's a fairly simple replacement part. You may also have bad gas or plugged injectors. Try running some cleaner thru the gas.

No. Tranny codes with no tranny problems is not a sign of fuel starvation. It's a sign of the all-too-common 97 ignition switch failure. However, on a 97, if the fuel filter has never been changed, it should be done. The fuel injector cleaner couldn't hurt either on a 97.

yeah, I may have read your post too quickly. A tune-up should help the cylinder misfire. Keep an eye on that ignition switch though. Why did you think the tranny was bad?

Sluggish acceleration. Tanny is shift kinda hard into 2, and the vehicle will notgot overr fifty it keeps bucking like it wants to shift but it cant. Rpms will go higher than normal when accelerator is floored then it shifts..

Yip, change the ignition switch, it is a black module in the steering colum. It is NOT the part you put the key into.
Also, maybe time to do a complete tuneup.
Plugs and wires is not a tuneup.
