Auto Trans to manual

I have recently experienced the wrath of the crap transmission in the 98 V6. I am going to get it replaced but was wondering if anyone knew if it is at all possible to put one of the new 6 speeds or any manual transmission in it at all...and if so, how much.

anything is possible..jus remember u need a trans, flywheel, clutch assembly, axles, ecu from a manual trans, shifter and cabels, pedel assembly and patience....cause puttin the pedels in suck

Well...I just talked to Honda of America and they said they would give financial assistance on my Transmission after I take it to the dealer....I still want to put a 6 speed in it. I don't think I will be buying a honda-matic again.
