I know its not much but I've finally purchased a new turbo. The T-25 is burning oil like crazy so I figured I had to do something. I decided to go with a 14B and got a really sweet price on it. Here are some pics:

The person who sold it said it was fully rebuilt 22K miles ago and there is no shaft play whatsoever so I'm pretty excited. I'm going to look for some information about porting. I know VFAQ has a good guide.
It's at my parents house now so I'm driving down in August to put it in with my dad. I'm also doing a new AC and MBC.
I've got a J-pipe lined up and I know I need the oil and water lines still but is there anything I'm missing that I'll need to install it? Thanks. I'll finally be boosting...harder.

You can use the t25 water lines, you just have to bend em a bit and get a longer line. I would go get a SS oil feed line and a 1g return line. And get LICP, not just a J pipe

a LICP in addition to the J-pipe or instead of? I can't quite picture how it all fits together yet. Thanks for the advice on the lines.

Swap the front and rear water lines and bend slightly, per the 16g install vfaq, toms notes in red. Use the jpipe and get a 90 degree 2.25" (?) to go to the SMIC. One leg is short (to the jpipe) and the other is long (to the SMIC), and use some napa 2.25" truck radiator hose as couplers to make up the distance. Works like a champ. The elbow was a few dollars at advance auto. Its crush bent, but its not like that will be the biggest restriction in the system ;) Worked great on the 2g when I got it ready to sell.
Edit> Didn't see it mentioned, but get a stainless feed line for 40-50 bucks, worth the investment. Reuse the drain line if you want, but the holes are too far apart at the turbo, requires some modification.
Also, I wouldnt bother with any porting besides the WG hole, exit area, and match porting the O2 housing to that work, use hte vfaq as a guide. Any power porting is not going to provide noticeable gains at such low airflow IMO/IME, but if you've got nothing but time on your hands and want to get the experience, go for it :)
Good luck.

Kevin = MacGuyver. Thanks for the advice. I'll go with the SS feed line and the DIY LICP. You rock my world.
