Radio Navigation set data base

Does anyone know of an aftermarket supplier of software/database
for the Nav set. I know that NAVTEQ supplies the map data and
updates their data quarterly but they don't produce the actual map
disks. An examination of the data files on the DVD indicates a co
named AISIN AW produced the disk. I have DVD ver 3 which GM says in the latest and greatest but the map data contained was compiled on 9 April 2004. The data on the DVD sucks. The dealer gets that "deer in the headlights" when I inquire about an update. I
crossed a 2.5 mile bridge two weeks ago that has been completed more than 2 years but my nav set indicated I was driving on water, I guess this means I can walk on water if I'm carring the nav set ! I hope someone can help.
