Hi,I have a 1984 honda v/65 magna. I need to know how to wire up a toggle switch for my cooling fan. The fan works ok but i want to beable to turn it on with a toggle switch when im in town traffic before tempeture gets up high enough to kick it on. It has two wires that plug into radiator sensor, one is green one is black. It also has a wire to the thermastat and a ground wire going into bolt. Thanks for any info on this. Have A Great Day

since the power wire's to the fan is on a sensor that auto kicks on the only way to make it work on ur command is to run a powered switch to it.. you will have to run a wire from your battery (fused) and to your switch then to the fan..
run the wire to the side that has power and presto

the best way to do it is to put the switch in parallel with the sensor. this will eliminate the back feed which can damage some sensors.
depending on the thermostat kind, most are a bi-metalic strip where heat makes the metal deform and bends to make contact with the power contact thus completing the circuit.
