4agze swap upadte- Part 2

okay ima keep this short and simple, as well as try to be not an asshole....but serisouly, what the fuck is up with online shipping? are companies just flat out retarded, or does ups like sabatoging my packages?

so far the count is up to 4 skrewed up things

1 lost package
2 held up packages for a week
1 completely broken

i know its not the comapnies fualt for those, but as well as ups skreweing those up my count is also up to 4 skrewed up packages

3 wrong items
1 item broken by seller...not by ups.... wtf.... i bouhgt arp bolts off ebya cuz they were an assload cheapr then the store (110 as opposed to 45) so im like okay cool (duno if most u know but i HATE goign through ebay) i get the package with 1 bolt and no nuts in it (btw these were my rod bolts)..so i mail the vendor and hes like yea i ripped the package when i was putting it into the mailbox.....im just like are u fucking kidding me, did you even make an attempt at trying to get tehm before they spilt all over the bottem of the mailbox?.... "nope"....i will never go through ebay again

oh and not to mention some fucker stole my harmonic balencaer out of my garage so now i gotta buy another one, or pull it off my celica and not have a car while my block gets blanaced


seriosuly im not one to bitch but how long has it been? 3 mabe 4 weeks? and i havnt gotten all my parts yet? its not that hard, i place an order, they ship it, i should get it within a week....but no i gotta send shit back, order new shit, send shit back cuz they sent me the wrong shit (i.e. my pisotn rings....how the fuck do you miss that when i buy .40 over...) i worked in a shipping department, i did skrew things up at one poitn or another, but this is just getting fucking ridiculous, the only 2 packages i got that i didnt have problems with were my water pump (witch i new the vendor i bought it from) and my flywheel (witch my machinest ordered cuz i got it cheap)



so yea im pretty pissed about the whole thing, absolutly nothing has been done but the bluprinting and the balencing of the rods ( at a mere 500 grams exactly, im excited about that i was aiming for under 550) i know its not the machineshops fault, but fucking a i expected the motor to be done by mid july dso i could pull the motor and have the head rebuilt w OEM stuff and get it ported and polished and the valve job...

oh yea i cahgned my mind while i run it n/a im just gunna use itm .40 over 4afe pistons, when it comes time for me to boost ill swap em out for the arias forged pistons


most u "enthusiats" dont know alot about machine work, theres a diffrence (big) in normal oem pisotns and actual forged pistons, forged pistons are pretty much made for boost, and have a diffrent expansion rate than normal pistons

and agin forgot about the +$150 i got for selling the 4agze head

Ehhh.. don't feel too bad. I ordered my exhaust back in January.. it should be coming in next week if i'm lucky :)

It's a long story.. but what happened is its a new company just coming up.. TPR (Tuning Precision Racing). They only make parts for the 7th gen Celica. They had a shop making the exhausts and intakes.. the shop owner ended up spending the money on something other than getting the parts produced and screwed the company out of several thousand dollars.. so Chris (owner of TPR) spent money out of his own pocket to get the parts made at other shops.. finally everything is rolling out.

The exhaust makes better gains than any other exhaust for the 7th gen.. so I think it was worth the wait :)

wow 6 months is a long time to wait for exaust. i couldnt wait that long i get pissed when stuff takes more than a week or 2.
