Hi, this a model I bought about 12 years ago. I'm finally building it. I really don't know the make or model, but it's really rare. I'm only using the body, hood, dash and windows from the kit.
Here are some pics of my progress. Hope you like them.

From what I remember from being a kid.. most of the snap-tite kits were smaller. Not quite 1/43, but somewhere between that and 1/25. It's only a vague memory, but I seem to recall having a snap-tite Trans-Am that was small. (mid to late 70's)
edit:
I did some web research.. I guess the scale was 1/32. This is the kit I had as a kid.. I think..

I think Will has that kit, I know I've seen them around that size. Man, that is a funky looking model you have there! I like the wheels, they go well with how absolutely bizarre that car is!

Thanks man. . .
I'm trying to save as much of the original body as I can. So far I have only removed the "Rear Hatch Cover", it looked like a molded-in vinyl cover so I'm making a "hatchback" type piece with a rear window and working hinge. The wheels are from the Rumbler kit. I had this model sitting on a shelf for quite some time, now that I'm a little more "able" to
build a decent model out of it; I guess I'll try not to mess it up.
Thanks for all your comments, I'll keep you posted. . .

I will, don't worry. I found this one about 12 to 15 years ago, but I think it should be from around the late 70's or early 80's era. Back then, most "Snap" kits were 1/32 or smaller. Maybee that's why they advertsed it as " BIG scale ! ! ! ".
